Perky Hostas

Hostas growing in the shaded south Greensboro garden bed along the treeline, surrounded by natural leaf and bark mulch and tree trunks.

Hostas are perking up.

This afternoon I noticed that the hostas at the front of the south garden bed in the front yard are perking up and starting to spread. The drought had really taken a toll on them. The recent rain, and the dappled sunlight coming in after we cleared some privets, is really making them happy. And that is making me happy.
