Cucumbers Are Coming Through

A vibrant green cucumber hangs from a leafy vine climbing up a wire mesh garden trellis, with morning dew glistening on the leaves under soft sunlight in a Greensboro backyard garden.

Garden’s first cucumber.

Behold, a cucumber! Tomatoes? Still not tomatoing. But we have a couple of cucumbers coming through. We’re using a method my dad recommended (and some fencing he gave us) to make picking easier. There will be cucumbers and probably squash and hopefully tomatoes.
