Blockbuster Nights

Most weeks, usually on Friday morning, we walk to the downtown branch of the Greensboro Public Library and check out a DVD or two to watch that weekend. This is our record of what we’re watching.

01. The Da Vinci Code

June 2026. James says it was a fun movie and can understand why it was popular. I was oddly annoyed by some of the way it diverged from the book, which isn’t like me.

02. Groundhog Day

June 2026. We both felt this one really held up and was more touching than we remembered.

June 2026. This one was wild. James says it’s a very long movie that skipped over some character development. It was funnier than expected for a noir film.
